The revolutionary SATAjet X 5500 paint spray gun:

The new SATAjet X 5500 with the revolutionary SATA X nozzle system will change the paint industry. Revolutionary, because: For the first time with SATA, a spray gun manufacturer offers a nozzle system that allows two jet shapes per nozzle size. Stretched and oval. In all nozzle sizes. The widest nozzle spectrum ever. For an incredible number of possibilities. For a wide variety of refinishers. For a wide variety of coating systems and climatic conditions. For differentiated objects. With a paint spray gun.

The SATAjet X 5500: as individual as you. The first spray gun that perfectly suits you and your individual requirements.

Revolutionary

The atomization of the X-nozzles sets completely new standards

Silent

whisper nozzle through optimized flow geometry , reduced volume in the relevant frequency ranges

Individual

Suitable for every application requirement, such as properties of the paint system, climatic conditions or painting habits (working speed / control)

Efficient

With the same application method, considerable material savings are possible

Precise

Optimized material distribution for both jet shapes for uniform and optimally matched atomization in a new nozzle system

Low maintenance

Without separate air distribution ring for easier and faster cleaning

Logical

Constant jet dimensions for all nozzle sizes (within the respective technology) with uniformly increasing material throughput

More

versatile Two jet shapes per nozzle size - suitable for every application requirement

The SATA X-Nozzle System

Revolutionary. Economical. Quietly. Logical.

When painting with modern paint systems, a wide range of nozzles offers more choice for the user, so that he can achieve the desired painting result faster and easier. The new SATAjet X 5500 with the new X-nozzle system and optimized air distribution extends the existing possibilities. The right nozzle can be used depending on the properties of the coating system to be processed, the working habit of the painter or the requirements of climatic conditions.

For the HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) as well as for the RP technology (Reduced Pressure), the sprayer can choose between two spray shapes per nozzle size. In addition, the SATAjet X 5500 is available with or without integrated pressure measuring device (digital pistols / standard pistols). The design of the gun body was developed together with the Porsche Design Studio.

I-nozzle:

  • Elongated beam shape with little outlet zone
  • Improved control during the application
  • Reduced layer application per spray coat
  • Available in nozzle sizes: 1.1 l / 1.2 l / 1.3 l / 1.4 l / 1.5 l * * HVLP only. | Further nozzle sizes follow.

O-nozzle:

  • Oval beam shape with larger discharge zone
  • Wet jet core for a higher working speed
  • Available in nozzle sizes: 1.1 O / 1.2 O / 1.3 O / 1.4 O / 1.5 O * * HVLP only. | Further nozzle sizes follow.

Conventional nozzle systems

  • Beam height and width vary with increasing nozzle size
  • Material flow does not increase linearly with larger nozzles
  • Material distribution varies depending on the nozzle size
  • Nozzle with a wet or dry spray jet with the same jet shape not available

SATA X-nozzles

  • Constant jet height and width with increasing nozzle size
  • Material flow increases linearly with increasing nozzle sets
  • Material distribution of the respective jet shape constant over all nozzle sizes
  • Easier nozzle selection through a transparent nozzle system allows - depending on requirements - a wet or dry application with a uniform jet shape

Depending on your requirements, decide which nozzle you like.

In order to achieve an optimal spray jet without any compromise, far more factors than just ambient temperature and humidity have to be taken into account. The selected paint material with appropriate additives, the object size, the recommended film thickness, the individual painting habit, such as operating speed or control, also play an important role in the selection of a nozzle.

Ask yourself the questions:

  • Which technology (HVLP / RP) does my paint manufacturer recommend in the product data sheet?
  • Which SATA spray gun and nozzle are currently in use?
  • What is the temperature and humidity in my paint booth?
  • Which nozzle size does my paint manufacturer recommend in the product data sheet considering the climatic conditions?
  • Which type of painter am I?
  • What layer thickness should be achieved with the coating?
