Why dilute your paint to ensure it can be sprayed when all you need to do is heat it. Heating the material will reduce it's viscosity so it can be applied at lower pressure, lower pressure means less overspray; helping you to keep within your VOC targets plus you'll use less solvent. With heated hoses you save time, save material and that means money!

Safety

The hoses are manufactured in the EU and are CE marked. The heated hose is not subject to Atex regulations but the temperature control is to be placed outside of an enclosed spray room. The heater conductor is highly insulated to prevent shorting and fitted with a 70°C thermal fuse (JP54). Hoses have a 4x MWP safety burst factor.

Temperature Control

Variable temperature control range from 20°C to 80°C. The fluid temperature that can be achieved is dependant on the flowrate required by the size of spray tip used. The longer versions of heated hose are capable of being used with larger tip sizes since the fluid is heated for longer through the length of a longer hose.

Improved finish

Heating the material lowers the viscosity, so it flows better and therefore needs little if any dilution to achieve a superior finish and a higher film build.

Compatibility

Our range of heated high pressure hoses can be used with airless and air assisted airless/airmix spray pumps and can be used up to a maximum working pressure of 250 Bar (3625psi). By using heated hoses you have the option to use smaller, less expensive spray units to apply your coatings. Versions are available with textile or steel braiding to suit pump design. All the hoses are fitted with 3/8" NPSM (F) connections at each end. The hoses can be used with water based and solvent based materials with a flash point above 21°C

Replaceable hose

Eventually, due to normal wear and tear or accident, the high pressure fluid hose may need to be replaced. This is a simple process of disconnecting the hose from the temperature control unit and sliding the heating element out from the bore of the old fluid hose, then refitting a new replacement. Our standard range of high pressure fluid hoses are compatible replacements.
